All of the instructors in Horsens Selvforsvar Klub are volunteers and teach because they want to support and help the school's other members to achieve the abilities that they are working towards. They stand 100% behind the school's Concepts and values, which is what creates our wonderful family atmosophere. They contribute to the dissemination of these concepts and values to others, so they also can experience our school spirit. That is why our very committed and competent instructors have obligated themselves to attend Instructor Education at least 7 times every year!

At a minimum, the instructors of Horsens Selvforsvar Klub participate in the following seminars each year:

Technical Advancement, 1st quarter
(Emphases on the physical skills needed to teach the following quarter's curriculum)

Instructor Development, 1st half of the year
(professional training in psychology, didactics, sociology, coaching, communication and pedagogy)

Technical Advancement, 2nd quarter
(Emphases on the physical skills needed to teach the following quarter's curriculum)

Instructor Development, 2nd half of the year
(professional training in psychology, didactics, sociology, coaching, communication and pedagogy)

Technical Advancement, 3rd quarter
(Emphases on the physical skills needed to teach the following quarter's curriculum)

First Aide and Anatomy
(injury prevention and care of generally occurring minor injuries, artificial respiration, CPR,
Heimlich Maneuver, and basic knowledge of how the body is constructed)

Technical Advancement, 4th quarter
(Emphases on the physical skills needed to teach the following quarter's curriculum)
